July Meeting – In Wildlife We Trust

Rachel Shaw from Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust will be giving a presentation about the invaluable work the trust does to support our local wildlife. If the weather improves for July (fingers crossed) we will be having a walk around the grounds of the Trust’s headquarters at Banovallum House. If the weather doesn’t improve it may be more like a paddle around the grounds.

Banovallum was house was built in 1790 on ground owned by the renowned botanist Joseph Banks. The grounds are now home to a good for a variety of garden birds, including finches and tits, spotted flycatcher, song thrush and pied wagtail. If you are lucky you may even see a Kingfisher or two along the river.
